Emotional intelligence is an individual ability, however, this workshop for couples is a team effort. The outcome is an amplified the level of emotional intelligence and a deeper connection in awareness and intimacy. This workshop will identify and assess the 5 key elements of emotional intelligence for each individual participant and demonstrate how to apply them to their relationship for success. Couples will gain understanding around controlling or redirecting disruptive impulses and moods. Each will improve their ability to understand the emotional makeup of themselves and their partner and gain proficiency in managing their relationship. Couples will acquire practical ways to identify cues, and to support and encourage their partner; techniques that can be applied immediately. Couples will leave with a deeper intimate connection to each other.

Conflict Resolution Workshop

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then this is the workshop for you and your intimate partner.

Fussing about the same thing over and over can get old and usually doesn’t move you closer to a resolve. This workshop will introduce the idea that conflict is a healthy part of relationship building. Couples will learn successful conflict resolution skills/tools, discover ways to integrate these new tools into their everyday lives, and incorporate the practice of empathy and self-empathy. Couples will also learn how to use words to bring life, harmony, healing and lots of fun to their relationship. Couples will learn to understand each other’s differences through kindness and how to love your partner in a manner that grows and sustains the relationship.

This workshop will break down major relationship concepts, demonstrate a conflict resolution tool, and uncover ways to maintain respect and closeness in their relationship. Couples will leave with a deeper insight of each other, a clear understanding of what makes a healthy relationship, and tools that they can apply immediately.

Couples will learn why sexual intimacy is important and what a healthy sex life looks like. This workshop will breakdown major relationship concepts and give couples new insights and research-based relationship skills. These skills dramatically improve intimacy and friendship in relationships. Couples will learn how to practically build sexual intimacy into their relationship and create a safe space for communicating their wants and needs. Couples will leave with a deeper intimate connection to each other and a strategy to apply techniques into their relationship immediately.

Self-esteem Workshop

Self-esteem is an individual personal value, however, this workshop for couples is a team effort. The outcome is an increased level of self-esteem and a deeper connection in awareness and intimacy. This workshop will teach each participant to recognize their worth, embolden them to make requests so that they get what they want, and empower them to develop techniques for eliminating unhealthy thoughts. Couples will acquire practical ways to identify partner cues, provide support, and help to encourage. Individually and as a couple, participants will learn to set goals that reflect their dreams and desires and reinforce healthy patterns.

Blended Better – Blended Families

  • Is your blended family still living like two separate families?
  • Are you experiencing more conflict as a result of blending your family?

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then this is the workshop for you and your intimate partner.

The idea of blending a family usually stops with the two that fell in love, but there is always much more blending to do after the “I do”. This workshop will define the confusing roles and boundaries of blending families and demonstrate why parents so often struggle with their blending efforts.  Couples will develop a shared meaning for their new family, clarify expectations, and learn to build on family strengths. Couples will also develop co-parenting skills across multiple households and learn best practices for parenting together. Couples will leave with a deeper intimate connection to each other.

COVID Protocols

Your Health and Saftey are a top priority.

In preparation for the Tri Team Unlimited workshops, we will be following all of the requirements of the CDC for North Carolina and implementing the following personal and environmental strategies to make sure that everyone is well-cared for both physically and emotionally.

Temperature Checks

We will use a non-contact thermometer to check for fever and will ask you to stay home if you are not well. Each person will be responsible for safely transporting anyone sick to their home or to a healthcare facility.

Hand Hygiene and Respiratory Etiquette

Hand washing is advised, and we ask that you cover coughs and sneezes due to allergies.

Cloth Face Coverings

 Will be required for facilitators and participants except for mealtimes when participants will be social distanced in household pairs.

Adequate Supplies

Hand sanitizer, sprays, and tissues will be readily available.

Signs and Messages

Sanitizing etiquette and processes will be posted.

Cleaning and Disinfection

Tri Team Unlimited has increased the frequency of cleaning surfaces and bathrooms to every hour.

Food Service

 All food will be individually wrapped or served by properly protected staff and follow all CDC guidelines for safe dining.
